On December 7, Veloz co-hosted our final summit of the year, Women Drive the EV Revolution: A Veloz Leadership Summit presented by San Diego Gas & Electric®, (SDG&E®) in beautiful downtown San Diego.
The event was attended by Veloz’s member organizations, SDG&E’s Clean Transportation team and STEM students from regional colleges to bring both aspiring and established women professionals together and provide them with valuable insights from the industry’s most inspiring women. Purposeful convening is part of our secret sauce and our Electric For All vision is only possible with our world-class members and partners from both the public and private sectors!
Nearly 200 guests joined keynote speaker and former Veloz Board member, Caroline Winn, Chief Executive Officer, SDG&E as she delivered a powerful keynote address followed by an in-depth panel discussion featuring speakers from the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, Uber, Toyota, Gage Zero, Southern California Edison, and SDG&E. Together, the panelists discussed what inspires them in the world of transportation electrification, the variety of opportunities in the ecosystem, and how to encourage diversity in the global workforce.
