Davina Hurt is a powerhouse in climate change advocacy and air quality improvement as an attorney, elected official and former city mayor in California. A globally recognized keynote speaker, she serves on the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and chairs the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), the first regional air pollution control agency in the U.S., while also serving as a commissioner for Silicon Valley Clean Water.

Deeply involved in nonprofit work, Davina holds board memberships in the Legal Aid Society and Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University. She currently advises the Equity Forward Initiative of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and Samaritan House, focused on combating poverty.

Davina’s knowledge in transportation, waste management, and stationary sources make her a significant force in addressing environmental and social challenges centering equity, innovation and community.

Davina is an alumna of Baylor University and SCU School of Law.
