Join us in welcoming Hawaii State Senator Chris Lee to the Veloz Public Policy Board. Senator Lee is one of the first Veloz Public Policy Board members from outside of California.
“Hawaii was the first state to commit to economy-wide carbon neutrality by 2045 and we have passed a law directing the state to eliminate fossil fuels for all ground transportation and reduce fuel costs for local drivers. Hawaii was also the first state to award fast charging projects funded by the federal government’s NEVI program, ensuring that our citizens have the necessary public infrastructure to drive electric. Transportation electrification is front and center in our work and I am thrilled to be joining Veloz’s cause as they champion zero-emission vehicles in California and beyond.”
— Chris Lee, Hawaii State Senator
